My "Married to Don Brown" Moment of the Day

Don and Makoa were helping me make chimichangas tonight for dinner. First they shredded the cheese while I was mixing ingredients over the stove. Then I asked Don to slice some olives. I have yet to find a tin of diced olives in Australia and one of my frequent misordered items from my online grocery store was a bottle of whole olives - not even pitted ones. But with help in the kitchen I thought I'd finally use some for our dinner. I come out of the kitchen and find this happening at the table:

Don is not using the knife I gave him, instead he is using a quote more efficient method . . . his mouth. He is going around the pit like a corn on the cob and flicking out the pieces that stick to his teeth with his tongue.

"Ask my mother," he tells me, "I could never do a tedious household chore, I always had to find a more efficient way to get the job done. That's why I am a programmer." Great . . . anyone want to come over for dinner?
