After a week of illness ransacked our house, the clouds parted on Saturday (June 7) and we had an unusually glorious sunny day. Don and I quickly piled Makoa and a few snacks into the stroller and went to the shop to buy a kite. It was the perfect kite flying day! Don and Makoa had smiles on their faces all morning as they flew this yellow kite. Makoa is getting better at saying his colors, and especially loves the word yellow! Anyway, Makoa was very helpful throwing the kite into the air, or holding the string. The first time he was handed the string he let go when he was bored :) luckily the wind wasn't blowing too hard and Don could chase the kite down!!
