On May 30th, Makoa and I saw The Wiggles live in concert at the Enmore Theater. Picture complete madness - four blocks of a busy city street filled with hundreds of parents with their little kids wearing Wiggles clothes and singing Wiggles songs. There was an excitement in the air though and everyone (the parents perhaps even more than the kids) was looking forward to seeing the show. And The Wiggles did not disappoint - for an hour Anthony, Sam, Murray, and Jeff, along with the rest of their crew, kept us all entertained. While we were waiting for the show to start I asked Makoa if he wanted to see the Wiggles and he said, "Whea da wemote?" As he moved his head side to side - looking- I was cracking up. For the first thirty minutes I think he was a bit confused and just sucked his thumb while standing on my lap. During the second half he did dance in his seat though! It was fantastic to be in a place where it was okay for the kids to jump and dance and stand on the chairs and eat and talk, just so much fun!!
